BIBIK

Bibik , a female Basset Hound.
She was a very playful & mischievous dog. Once off the leash, she will RUN like the speed of lightning.
Her long ears will just flap away. Despite her long body and short legs, she can run very fast.

CINDY

CINDY  .....ahhh...my lovely 'girly' long haired daschund.
She was a best friend every little girl should have. Because she understands you.
Cindy came to us when she was just a few weeks old. She was an original, in short a pure breed with a Certificate.
She had many siblings...Prince, Cheyenne, Lucky, Lai-Lai and a few more which names I forgot.
Her mom was named Dumb-dumb and she was a short-haired daschund. I dont know why my late Aunt Molly called her that. We never asked.
Anyway Cindy stayed with us for 11 years (human age). So in doggy terms she was 77 years old.
We had many beautiful memories of Cindy.

KELLY

KELLY.... the "White Knight" was a male  Golden Retriever  with a pink nose.
No kidding.
We had him when he was just 3 months old. He was given to us by a friend and it was all because of me that Kelly had come into our lives.
I was scared of animals back then so my Dad had taken Kelly in to help me overcome my fear of animals.
I dont know when or how I managed to get close to Kelly but I finally did.
So it does look like for one to overcome one's fear is to get face-to-face with whatever one is frightened or scared of.

Kelly was a playful puppy. When he first came into the house I ran to my bedroom and jumped on my bed.
Thinking that I was playing with him, he had run after me,jumped on the bed, and playfully 'bit' my ankle.

My Friends

Golden Retriever
The Golden Retriever is a sturdy, medium-large sized dog. The skull is broad and the muzzle is straight, tapering slightly with a well defined stop. The nose is black or a brownish black. The teeth meet in a scissors bite. The medium to large eyes are dark brown. The relatively short ears hang down close to the cheeks. When pulled forward the tip of the ear should just cover the eye. The tail is thick at the base with feathering along the underside. Dewclaws may be removed. The water-resistant coat is dense with a firm, straight, or wavy outer coat. There is an untrimmed feathering on the underbelly, back of the legs, front of the neck and underside of the tail. Coat color comes in cream to a rich golden.
These are lovable, well-mannered, intelligent dogs with a great charm. They are easily trained, and always patient and gentle with children. Charming, devoted and self-assured, they are a popular family dog. Energetic and loving, Golden Retrievers enjoy pleasing their masters, so obedience training can be very rewarding.

Long Hair Daschund
There are three varieties of Dachshund: the short-haired, the wired-haired, and the long-haired. With each of these varieties there are three sizes. (See Height and Weight.) The Dachshund's body is longer than it is tall, muscular with short legs. It has an elongated head and a slight convex skull, arched with protruding eyebrows. The muzzle is long The jaw is robust with non-pendent lips. The teeth should meet in a scissors bite. The almond shaped eyes are dark red or brown-black. The mobile ears are hanging long on its cheeks. The body has a strong protruding sternum and a moderately retracted abdomen. The tail is carried in line with its back. The short-haired Dachshund's coat should be shiny, sleek and uniform.
The Dachshund is curious, clever, lively, affectionate, proud, brave, and amusing. Devoted to their family, but can be slightly difficult to train and housebreak, but not impossible. Dachshunds travel well.

Basset Hound
The Basset Hound is sweet, gentle, devoted, peaceful and naturally well-behaved. They fit into family life well. Their temperament should always be friendly, and never vicious, moody or harsh, and would only become so if the owners led the dog to believe he was pack leader over humans. They are mild but not timid; very affectionate with its master and friendly with children.

Be Your Own Dr Doo-little

Kelly was a healthy dog and required no serious medical attention throughout his life.
But poor Cindy had some stones in her bladder and had to be operated on.
If you want to know what the symptons are for stones in the bladder, its when the urine is traced with some blood.
We had sent Cindy to a government Vet then so it didnt cost that much.

Anyway I have something here which you will find very useful &  handy.
And maybe you do not require to bring your pet to the Vet at all.
But whatever the case, if you feel better by going to the Vet please do.
So you might want to CHECK THIS   out before being a DR DOO-LITTLE !!
